Nuclear Family
Between the years of 1951 and 1992, a total of 928 Nuclear Weapons tests were conducted 65 miles Northwest of Las Vegas at the Nevada Test Site. These prints are based on a selection of 6 satellite images of the exact geographical locations of these tests. A small circular piece of copper mesh was adhered to indicate the epicenter of detonation. Each location was chosen with consideration to proximity in time to landmark events in my immediate family's lives. This suite of 36 prints in editions of of 6 with clamshell storage box was completed in the Fall of 2018 at the Rhode Island School of Design
